"The pk of 12 Replacement High Density Polyethylene Rods work well with your Plastic Welding Kit to repair this material. To identify the material type do a burn test on a small sample. Both low and high density Polyethylene burn with no smoke, blue flame and a candle wax odor when flame is extinguished. these rods are 1/8"" diameter x about 9"". Longer lengths and larger diameters are available upon request. Low density is more flexible than high density."
